Safety Rules
* Always wear proper equipment (e.g., shin guards, sliding pants,
goalkeeper gloves). * Don't climb on or hang from the goals.
* Don't hang in the nets. * Don't move goals without adult assistance.
* Don't kick the ball towards unsuspecting people. * Don't climb over the field fence.
* Don't climb under the field gates. * Don't stand and try to balance on balls.
* Don't walk with your feet in cones. * Don't head or kick the green medicine balls.
* Don't open the equipment box without adult supervision. * Don't throw a stake or corner flag like a javelin.
* Don't swing (i.e. centrifuge) your bag in a circle.
* Don't practice or play soccer with solid food in your mouth. After you
have eaten an orange slice, remove the orange peel from your mouth before
running onto the field. * At practice, don't kick at players on the ground in order to dislodge the ball under or behind them.
* At practice, be kind to our team's goalkeepers. * Stay behind the Juggs
soccer all shooting machine when it is in use.
* Don't act in a manner than endangers you or others. |

General
Requests
* During a game or scrimmage, if you are injured or feeling sick, sit down on the field.
* Tell a coach if you see anything unsafe (gopher holes, broken glass, protruding sprinkler heads, etc.).
* Never leave the practice field or game site without notifying a coach.
* If you kick a ball over the fence, let a coach know. * Don't sit on balls.
* Don't chew gum at practices or games.
* If you accidentally do something that hurts another player, say "I'm
sorry." |
