The distinction between clubs, leagues, associations,
and organizations in competitive soccer is not always clear. Generally,
though not always, players join teams, which are parts of clubs, which
register their players in the appropriate league. In some cases, the clubs
are the leagues (or, vice versa), and players register directly and are then
assigned to teams. In other cases, players register with one league and play
in another league. All of the organizations below can get you started
finding a place to play. |
