Honestly, parent-to-parent, competitive soccer
probably isn't where your child should be.
Recreational soccer is
probably a much better option. Competitive soccer takes children far outside
of their comfort zones - so far, in fact, that the motivation needs to be
internal. Players who are not driven to excel in a challenging environment -
children who are placed into competitive soccer without wanting to be there
