‘82 Acorns
Once an Acorn, always an Acorn
When the team was formed, ’82 Acorns was the youngest team in the
Belmont Oaks Soccer Club. “Acorns” seemed a fitting name for players that had a
lot of growing to do. Little did we know how quickly they would grow. The “big
nuts” quickly turned into mighty oaks that, even after “graduating”, are still
making names for themselves in college soccer.

Acorns - the first team meeting
Acorns’ Fight Song
Now, here, here, here’s a team
to sing about.
It always makes you want to
scream and shout.
The will is there to help us
win the game.
‘Good sportsmanship’ will
always be our every aim.
Just watch us try to do our
very best,
To separate our team from all
the rest.
And, in the end we’ll have a
hundred goals.
Go, Acorns, go!
