DRUG-FREE PLEDGE

I, ________________________, understand that playing soccer at the SAYSO skill level requires that I be in the very best physical condition possible. I understand that my team needs me, and that I cannot support my team if I am mentally unstable, physically unfit, or unhealthy. I understand that smoking, drinking alcohol, and taking nonprescription drugs will make me mentally unstable, physically unfit, and unhealthy. I understand that smoking and drinking alcohol at my age are illegal. I understand that taking drugs not prescribed by a doctor is illegal for everyone. Because of these reasons, I pledge not to use tobacco, alcohol, or nonprescription drugs while I am playing for my team.
