Clearinghouse Service
for Soccer Donations

WHAT IT IS

Many groups (teams, clubs, and leagues) are tirelessly serving the needs of youth soccer players but are too small or new to incorporate as state and federal nonprofit organizations. SAYSO can accept donations on behalf of these organizations, issue receipts for tax purposes, and then issue disbursements for appropriate expenses.
HOW IT WORKS

You may solicit donations for any youth soccer group whose goals are consistent with SAYSO's charter. Checks and other payments must be payable to "SAYSO", not your team or group. SAYSO sends each donor an appropriate receipt and year-end giving statement. 100% of the funds is earmarked and available for your group's use. At your choice, SAYSO will either prepare payment for an advance purchase of soccer equipment, respond to an invoice from a soccer supplier, or reimburse you upon presentation of a soccer-related receipt.

Money cannot be used as payment to individuals for coaching services or for any other employment-related activities. Payments to corporations with appropriate federal identification numbers (FINs) for coaching services can be made.

At any time at your request, the remaining funds held for your group can be issued to another nonprofit youth soccer organization. Although the funds remain earmarked for your use, they cannot be released to an individual or other for-profit organization.
