You are provisional.
Now, what?
1. "Provisional" means
that the SAYSO coaches could not come to a decision about you. The most
common reason for this is when tryouts are affected by rain and our tryout
activities are conducted on pavement. Or, maybe you did not attend all of
the tryout stations (events), or perhaps your tryout scores were
inconclusive. It is also possible that the coaches had incomplete information
(i.e., the SAYSO staff assembling to tryout scores couldn't read a coach's handwriting). It could also occur that the rain washed out the
ratings on the score sheet, some of your forms are
left unsigned or incomplete, that we accidentally assigned two people the
same number, or one of the coaches used a "5" instead of a "1" at his/her
station to indicate excellence. In any case, whatever the reason, we
want to see you again,
very soon. We've scheduled some play days and practices. You will be receiving more information
via email, as well. We apologize that we couldn't come to a
definitive decision immediately after the tryout.
2.
SAYSO will have 1-3 play days in January and February before practicing
begins in earnest in March.
Here is the schedule of additional play days:
