Super-7 Academy is a continuation
of the
very popular
Crickets Soccer Academy.
Super-7
is perfect for competitive players slightly too young for spring competitive
(e.g., US Club, CYSA, 'CY', etc.) leagues but who want to compete on weekend teams
against similar players developing at the higher skill levels.
Super-7
prepares players for easy transitions onto U8
SAYSO Gryphons
teams that play in CYSA and US Club Soccer leagues. Players from all mid-peninsula cities are welcome to participate without exclusion. Limited to 60 players. Established, fixed curriculum covering skill, strategy, and
practice games. Multiple
professional, credentialed SAYSO coaches provide the instruction.
Approximate 1:15 coach:player ratio. Age-appropriate teaching methods, goals,
and balls. All equipment is provided. Location: Foster City (Fridays)
and San Mateo (Sundays).
Dates: For fall 2008, there will be one series of 10 classes starting
September 5, 2008. Cost: (prorated for midseason registrations) $250, includes professional coach,
Super-7
uniform (shorts, jersey, and socks), a
SAYSO Gryphons
ball, and membership/registration in
US Club Soccer for insurance.
Players from the Super-7 Academy may be invited to optional weekend
tournaments against teams from other cities at no charge. |

Meet Your Program Director Nick Dye is an accomplished coach in several regards. He has a prestigious UEFA B license as well as a wealth of soccer accomplishments beyond his years. Nick has already worked as a professional coach for over 5 years. 3 of those years were with a former English premier league academy where he developed players to be hired professionally in clubs around the world. Nick has also previously worked in New Jersey as an manager of a very successful soccer academy. As a former student of sports science, Nick brings a treasure trove of new coaching techniques and ideas from around the world. Most importantly, the children love his motivating enthusiasm, and everyone loves his accent. |
