We are pleased to announce SAYSO's Referee System, SAYSO Online! This system will make it easier for you to request and, more importantly, confirm your SAYSO referee assignments. Here are important details to get registered and start requesting games.

To register: Please click on the following URL or paste it into your browser:

Please click New Member and enter your personal information for payment and referee assignment purposes. On the second page of the registration process please enter your years of experience, select your appropriate position classification qualified for (CR, AR) and your referee grade level. Click Next, read the referee agreement, initial, and accept. You will now be at the last step to register, Click the Register Now button. On the next screen click Member Home and you will be taken to the SAYSO member home page.

After registration, use and bookmark the following URL:

To request games and review your schedule, login in at https://sayso.d4sportsreg.com/default.aspx  and click on the My Ref/Ump tab at the top. Click Volunteer to get to the page where you can review available games. Click on the Referee Schedule button to view games you've selected to referee or that the referee assigner has assigned you to after talking with you. 

Other information and FAQ's

Any game changes will be emailed to you, in which case, you will be asked to log back in and confirm the new time.

If you've selected a game and need to decline it, login, view the Referee Schedule and then click the Decline button. Send an email to referees@sayso.org to let SAYSO that know you've declined a game. If you do this less than 24 hours prior to a game, in addition to sending the email, please call the SAYSO Referee Assigner at cell 650 740-6099 to let SAYSO know that you can't make a game.

At this time, you will need to register each referee separately with a different email address, some families have multiple referees.

If you are refereeing for the first time and would like a shadow referee, please send an email to referees@sayso.org.

If you need help in the system, Click the ?Help button on the top right for animated help that will walk you through registration, volunteering, or changing your game schedule.

Additional helpful information, also found at http://www.geocities.com/greg_costanzo@sbcglobal.net/ includes the following:

·        If you are unable to meet a previously-accepted assignment, please update your assignment schedule on the SAYSO Online website.

·        Referees are required to arrive 15-20 minutes before the scheduled game time.

·        Center referees should bring flags for their assistant referees.

·        SAYSO uses email extensively to communicate with you .

·        You will be notified via email of any game changes, and we recommend that you check your email regularly and before games.

·        Officials (centers and assistants) are paid the following amounts, per game:

·        Referees who travel across either the San Mateo Bridge or Dumbarton Bridge are paid an additional $5.

·        Payment is by check, mailed to your address on file in this system within 2 weeks of the end of each month.

·        Payment is mailed to the address on file in SAYSO Online (this system) within 2 weeks of the end of each month .

·        Please keep your mailing address, email address and other information up-to-date in this system.
